Bryan and Sharon spent six days in Latvia where Bryan participated in an academic conference and PR student workshop. We lived in Riga with Ainars Dimants, a friend who we learned to know while he was on a Fulbright to the University of Georgia. Bryan gave a plenary talk on PR and conflict management for Latvian PR practitioners, scholars, and students on May 28. On May 30 he gave a talk on PR evaluation to a group of PR students from seven Latvian universities, including host university Turiba. The student workshop was in a beautiful setting on the Baltic coast.

- Bryan H. Reber
- Dr. Reber is the C. Richard Yarbrough Professor in Crisis Communication Leadership at the University of Georgia, Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He teaches public relations and crisis communication courses at Grady College. He serves as assistant head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations. He most often teaches Introduction to PR, Crisis Communication, PR administration and PR writing. He also regularly teaches graduate PR management seminars. He worked in PR for 15 years before beginning to research and teach at the university level.
